Backyard Turkey Soup

    Backyard Turkey Soup

This recipe is perfect for after Thanksgiving! Makes 4 quarts and cooks in the crockpot!

2 1/2 cups Chicken broth
4  Chicken bullion cubes
2 Beef bullion cubes
1/2 Turkey breast FULLY cooked
1 package frozen peas (small square type)
1 package frozen corn
1 package frozen green beans
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 cup flour
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
Water (will be adding to crockpot)
1 crockpot

In Large 4 qt crockpot add Chicken Broth, then take 1 cup water with all bullion cubes and put in microwave take out stir until all are completely mixed with water and add to crockpot. take 1 cup of flour add to 2 cups of cold water to thicken soup mix well and add to crockpot. Let cook for a couple hours stirring every 1/2 hour so flour doesn't settle .. then check if any flour has settle take a spoon with holes (strainer) out any "LUMPS" add remaining ingredients cook a hour and eat.. IT IS DELICIOUS! Cooking time. Best for a day you are home so you can watch this. You can skip the flour and make it more of a soup and dump it all in at once or add at the end to thicken but I like this method.
